In an all-cash acquisition, Vikas Lifecare purchased a 30% ownership in “Ardh Sainik Canteens” from its current stockholders in an effort to increase its retail presence across India. A corporate statement estimates the deal’s value at Rs 150 million (Rs 15 crore), and Vikas Lifecare would own a 30 percent stake in the company in the form of 30,000 equity shares. By March 28, 2023, the agreement will most likely be fully implemented.

According to an official statement, “the company has been seeking a space for itself in the retail market segment, including e-commerce for the consumer items, including the agro products business segment rising tremendously during the recent 12 to 18 months.”

With its formation date of August 16, 2016, “Ardh Sainik Services Private Limited” is a 100 percent subsidiary of New Delhi-based Abhhyam Services Private Limited.

600 Running Canteens, more than 140 Vendor Partners, 12 Running Depots, and more than 4500 Canteen Requests are now being processed in the ASC network.
