Unusual vintage hip flask shaped like an artillery shell. Made of English pewter with a brass screw cap that doubles as a cup. Marked “English Pewter – Made in Sheffield, England” with the Beefeater guard hallmark.
This flask dates to the 1970s. Similar flasks in the shape of shells or cartridges were popular in the post-WWII era as gentlemen’s gifts, especially during the 1960s and 70s. A great collectible with masculine, military-inspired charm.
