Seems to be working properly. The only thing that wasn't making sense to me was the screen working but not displaying what was in front of the lense. My odds are on the compact flash card that I was using isn't the right one for this camera. Seems like there is some circuitry that flows through the card and back into the camera. Ask questions if you have them :)
